Professional ping pong legend Bertha "The Skull Destroyer" Jenkins remains unimpressed with the Nashville Predators.
Nashville coach Barry Trotz said, “If they want a Ping Pong table in Nashville, we’ll get them one. It’s their toys, we have our toys. We’re OK. It’s not a big deal to us at all.” – USA Today
Methinks thou doth protest too much Mr. Trotz. While completely plausible that a man with no neck wouldn’t be able to play ping pong and thus would brush it off casually it’s plain as day that the Nashville Predators are shook to the core by this clever gamesmanship by Todd Bertuzzi.
Observe this quote, where the Predators’ Brandon Yip admits that he thinks Mr. Bertuzzi has become a phantom or some sort of extra-dimensional spirit:
“I don’t know where that came from,” Yip said of Bertuzzi being involved. “He wasn’t out there.” – USA Today
Surely Brandon Yip is aware that Todd Bertuzzi is very much “out there” in this series and won’t let even the smallest of infractions go.
Prepare for battle tonight my Central division friends: the Red Wings are going to, as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson so eloquently says, bring it.

lol!
